Nice if you want to focus a little on building but still face a good zed threat. Survivor: Easier Combat more powerful weapons. Apocalypse: If you see more than 2 Zombies: RUN. You could setup a game in sandbox and reduce the zombie hearing range. Combat is a bit easier in survival.Honestly, for a mod it’s quite good - it’s no replacement for actual NPCs when they’re added but it’s decent enough to play about with. Fair warning - It’s clunky and sometimes very buggy, although my experience has been much better than others. I find keeping spawns to a minimum helps. You will have to click on the survivors and tell them what work they have to do. To collect wood, farming, base area, stack corpses, and few other jobs you need to designate an area for that. The superb survivor mod has a lot of bugs. Survivors usually die of hunger and thirst, so turn them off in the setting. I had Superb Survivors and Subpar Survivors both installed and loaded. Although, it came at a cost of my framerates and when I checked the descriptions for both mods, the main Survivors mod, Superb Survivors, it hasn't been updated since February of 2021. That's last fricking year.
